Pure Complexion formula is specifically designed to contribute to skin purity and to help balance oily skin.  It includes Milk protein complex standardized to a minimum of 80% lactoferrin, which helps regulate skin oiliness and contributes to skin purity.  In addition, Pure Complexion formula includes other vitamins and minerals supporting optimal skin health, healthy sebum production, skin's natural immune response and protecting it from premature aging.

Suitable for combined, oily/acne skin, in case of impurities on the T-zone and/or pimples due to menstruation. In the USA this product is a make-up artists favourite!

The presence of a lactoferrin-rich milk complex (lactoferrin) helps regulate skin oiliness. Furthermore, it is known that vitamin E is the most important liposoluble vitamin of the skin. In fact, vitamin E is brought to the skin solely via sebum secretion. Sebum is the vehicle for vitamin E to reach the skin. Appropriate intakes of vitamin E and healthy sebum secretion are perfect ways to protect against free radicals and maintain skin health. Pure Complexion also contains other factors (selenium, vitamin C) that together reinforce the defense barrier of the skin.

Pure Complexion also delivers ingredients that help support the skin’s ability to fight infection. Zinc, a trace element, has been shown to come to the rescue when skin is damaged. Lactoferrin, can also help fight microbial infection including Propionibacterium acnes, a skin bacterium linked to the formation of acne. Vitamin E, selenium and zinc are also thought to help reduce inflammation. Vitamin C, Vitamin E, beta carotene and the trace element selenium also aim to neutralize free radicals before they can damage the skin. Vitamins C and E have also been shown to protect the skin against the damaging effects of sun exposure, which can lead to premature aging, and to enhance the synthesis and protection of collagen, which helps the skin maintain its elasticity.
