Alpha hydroxy acids (AHA) or fruit acids are organic acids with deep cleansing and exfoliating properties: they 'loosen' the glue between dead skin cells so the cells fall of quicker, leaving face and complexion clear, smooth and soft. They also stimulate new cell growth, collagen levels and skin thickness while file line and wrinkles are smoothed out. Fruit acids not only reduce build up of excess dead skin cells, they also have astringent, antioxidant and preservative actions and unblock and cleanse pores. This peelings contains glycolic acid, lactic acid, citric acid, malic acid and tartaric acid.

Salicylic acid is a beta hydroxy acid (BHA) that also exfoliates dead skin cells, softens, improves problem skin, reduces blackheads, improves skin tone and texture and the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Green tea and vitamin C add antioxidant properties while retinol increases cellular turnover, which can help even out skin tone and texture and help skin to function better. Retinol is better than other forms of non-prescription vitamin A because it is a smaller molecule for better absorption. Fig extract is antibacterial, calms, soothes and moisturizes.

Suitable for all skin types; except very sensitive or broken skin. Excellent for dull, devitalized, lifeless skin, uneven skin tone, and thickened, rough, bumpy skin, ance, enlarged pores and pigment spots. Note: the peeled skin is sensitive for UV-rays, so don't forget to use a sunblock!

Use:

Once a week; apply a thin layer with cotton swabs or fan brush. Leave on 2-3 minutes, gradually increasing application time to 7 minutes if necessary. Remove thoroughly with cool water. Tingling and slight redness are normal; peel can be locally neutralized with cool water. Follow with a hydra repair capsule, your favourite serum and/or cream; or apply a mask immediately afterwards to provide the skin with extra nutrients!
