Vitamin E
An effective, lipid-soluble antioxidant that helps maintain the integrity of the cell membrane and helps to protect from free-radical damage due to internal and external influences (UV rays, tobacco, pollution etc.). It improves micro circulation in the skin, and strengthens the lipid layer in the epidermis, so the skin can retain moisture and is hydrated. Vitamin E also absorbs UV-B rays and so can help protect the cell membranes. Tocopherol is the most effective form of vitamin E.
